What can I use the gift voucher for?

For a one-time purchase of tickets to any monument from the 100+ objects in the National Heritage Institute (NHI) administration. The gift voucher itself therefore does not serve as a ticket or reservation. The gift voucher can also be used to purchase goods offered at NHI heritage sites, but not for purchases in the NHI online shop.

Where and how can I buy a gift voucher?

Gift vouchers can only be purchased online here. You can pay for the gift vouchers with a credit card that allows online payment. After payment you will receive the gift voucher as an email attachment.

What value should I choose for my gift voucher?

The gift voucher is available in the following amounts: CZK 200, 500 or 1,000.

We recommend visiting the websites of the monuments to find out the price range of the tickets.

How long is the gift voucher valid for?

The gift voucher is valid until the end of the following calendar year from the date of purchase. The expiration date is automatically generated on the gift voucher (you can find it under the QR code and voucher number).

Do you send vouchers by post?

We only send gift vouchers by email to the selected e-mail address entered at the time of purchase.

Where can I use the gift voucher?

You can redeem the gift voucher for a single purchase of tickets or goods, or for a combined purchase of tickets and goods at the shop at any of the 100+ monuments managed by National Heritage Institute. It can be redeemed when purchasing tickets online as well. The voucher itself does not serve as a ticket or reservation.

How can I use the gift voucher?

You can redeem it when purchasing tickets online, or directly when buying tickets or goods at the ticket office of a selected monument. In case of an online purchase, you will enter the gift voucher number. In case of paying for the ticket at the ticket office of the monument, just present the gift voucher on your mobile phone or in printed form for verification. Redeeming the gift voucher will reduce the total price of the purchase.

I have a gift voucher for CZK 1,000 and I want to use it for more purchases. How can I do this?

You can exchange your gift voucher for a lower value voucher that suits you better. Choose a lower value gift voucher here. For example, you can choose 5 gift vouchers worth CZK 200 each. Confirm your choice by pressing the "Add to cart" button. In the next step, you select the payment method by entering the number of the gift voucher you want to exchange in the box and confirming with the "+" button. You will then receive the new gift vouchers to the email address you entered. The exchange is free of charge.

Can I use the gift voucher at more than one site?

The gift voucher can only be used for one ticket purchase per monument.

I received a gift voucher by email. Should I print it?

The gift voucher does not need to be printed.

Can I use a gift voucher for multiple purchases as an e-wallet?

The gift voucher can only be redeemed for a single purchase of tickets or goods at one heritage site.

Do you refund money if the purchase is less than the value of the gift voucher?

We don't refund money. If the total price of the purchase is less than CZK 500 than the value of the voucher, the purchase cannot be made.

Can I top up my tickets beyond the value of the gift voucher?

Yes, both at the checkout and online.

I have multiple gift vouchers, can I redeem them in one purchase?

Yes, the total amount will be reduced by the total value of the gift vouchers.

How do I know if a gift voucher is valid?

The expiry date is indicated directly on the gift voucher under the QR code and voucher number. The gift voucher is valid until the end of the following calendar year from the date of purchase.

Where can I get a tax receipt for my gift vouchers?

The gift voucher itself has the requirements of a simplified tax document. If you need an invoice for a purchase of more than CZK 10,000, please contact technical support at prodej@npu.cz . We do not issue invoices for values below CZK 10,000.

Can I purchase gift cards from the Cultural and Social Needs Fund (CSF)?

The purchase of gift vouchers meets the conditions for drawing a contribution from the cultural and social needs fund according to the applicable legislation.
